Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina arrested an Andrews area church pastor Thursday, Oct. 20 on 11 warrants from Baltimore County that included charges of criminal sexual conduct with minors.
Thomas James Brackett, 59, pastor of Holy Trinity Pentecostal Church, Andrews, was taken into custody without incident at his home on Gapway Road, the Sheriff's Office said.
The offenses are alleged to have taken place in the 1980s while Brackett was a teacher and youth pastor at Tabernacle Christian Church in Baltimore County.
He will remain at Georgetown County Detention Center until he can be extradited to Maryland, authorities said.
